    I have to say even though I ate the pack of oatmeal yesterday I still kept my carbs at 21. After I had the oatmeal I finished the rest of the day low carb.

    Today I have my menu set just like every other day. I haven't quit at all and I am still looking forward to my goal of a loose 14 by the end of the month.

    Come on guys give me some tips of what you eat to keep your energy up. I am going to keep a closer eye on my diet and make sure i'm getting in 20 carbs cause I know there has been days where i'm not at 20 and may be way to low.

    glad ur back on track. what does your menu consist of? I am on day 12 and stalling... the sad thing is i started stalling once i started walkin.

    so what does a day look like for u?

      Hey fluffy girl. I figured it might have been the lack of carbs.

      Here is my menu on a typical day with carb count when I was on induction:

      Breakfast:
      2 eggs, 2 eggwhites 4 carbs
      1 tblsp of shredded mexican cheese .5 carbs
      2 pieces of bacon 0 carbs
      water

      Lunch:
      1 cup of european salad 4 carbs
      1 cup of mushrooms 2 carbs
      1tbsp cheese .5 carbs
      2 tbsp of hidden valley ranch dressing 2 carbs
      water

      Dinner:
      1/2 cup of brussels sprouts in butter 5 carbs
      (I cook the Brussels first in the microwave. I get the kind you can steam in the bag, then when I take them out and put them in a microwave bowl put in 1 tablespoon of butter and some seasoned salt and shake vigorously until the butter has melted).
      3-4 chicken wings cooked in olive oil.

      So here is my carb count for that day:

      4+.5+4+.5+2+2+5= 19 net carbs for that day.

      When I don't eat as many eggs in the morning and I have two carbs, and I use veggies in my eggs, I'll add in half an avocado for a snack which has 2.4 carbs.

        BrightStar looking at your menu, I think I may be lacking in the carb department. I am going to try to start eating more vegies with every meal so that I have enough to give me the energy I need.

        I am back on track today and I feel pretty good.

          Do you dislike meat? I don't see anything but veggies in your lunch, and only a little protein in your dinner, unless European salad had turkey or something in it that I don't know about. You might feel better with more protein, it seems really slim in your day.

          Spacing out your veggie carbs through the day makes a real difference, Dr. Atkins specifically states to do so.

            I love meat. Just for some reason that day I didn't have a lot of meat. I usually eat what I had leftover from dinner in my lunch.

            I don't know 3-4 chicken wings fills me up pretty good at dinnertime. I feel fine, and haven't had any problems. Atkins did state to eat 3 cups of veggies, and enough food so that I am full not stuffed. I eat until I am full. It doesn't take that much anymore.
