  • Once more - with gusto . . .

    I posted after my first day of induction back on March 1, then fell off the wagon the next day. I was counting carbs (keeping below 20) but not following the clean induction regimen. I was using half and half in my coffee, drinking drinks with nutrasweet, had a sandwich with low carb bread, etc. Sometimes I amaze myself. :speechle:

    Now I'm back on track and am on day 4 of doing it right. :icondance I do feel good about myself, and I think this wol will work for me, because I LOVE meat.

    Thats the way to get back on! You can do this! We have amazing friends and recipes here, its so easy, just make that commitment. We are all behind you 100% :clapping

        Hi LJ,

        You're doing a great job! and wonderful that you got back on track after all this is a WOL (way of life) not a diet.

        If you haven't read DANDR yet I urge you to do that too. He put so much information into that book that everytime I read it I gleam even more information from it.

            Good for you for doing your homework and tweaking your diet so you were on the straight and narrow! :joy

            We do recommend that you read DANDR along with having those links handy. DANDR explains the 'why' behind Atkins, and when you have an understanding of that, it becomes clearer as to why only certain things are allowed in Induction. I've been on Atkins a year now, and I still refer to DANDR for different things. :yes
