    Hi There,
I was 3 days into Induction, then decided I wasn't going to make it through Halloween (my second favorite holiday), so I gave myself permission to wait til after.

Sorry if you were trying to make it through and didn't. But tomorrow is another day. Don't use your slip to fall into a chasm of despair You can do it!

      hi there!
i made it through halloween!! but yesterday i had a nacho dip (cream cheese, salsa, cheddar) from the local market. sugar was not onthe list of ingredients, but today my ketostik in not purple for the frst time since i started. so now i am very dissapointed.

so i guess i cheated without knowing :-(

but hang in there! halloween is over.

I had planned to go out and be drinking and having dinner... but did not plan the tiramisu... My scale is registering 10lbs higher than 30 Oct... I know it's lying (somewhat), but still. Today's my first day back on strict induction. What about you?

Re: ok halloween put me into the dirt

I'm starting back on tomorrow. Today is my son's birthday, and I am the designated cake maker. Probably won't eat it (not a cake fan), but decided not to guilt myself before I really get started. And fortunately, my other son, who's birthday is the end of next week, is away in the Marines, so I no longer have to bake for him-just send presents There will be no more distraction now until Thanksgiving, so I should have no more problem getting through Induction. I'm NOT looking forward to "the flu" though. And that's the bummer about having started Induction and deciding quit. I got through "the flu" once, and now I KNOW I'll go through it again At least I've got nothing major on the schedule this week. And I have lots of pain killer for the wicked headache. Just wish there was something for the nausea, ugh.

Funny thing, after Halloween, I'm CRAVING bacon and eggs, lol.
