One week later... 198.5.
Decent results I think, hope week 2 goes just as well. I've found the 20 net carb restriction to be very doable, and I may extend the induction period a good bit beyond 2 weeks.
The Halloween candy everyone brought to work over the last couple of days has been easier to turn down than I expected. Someone tossed me a Snickers bar Tuesday morning and I gave it back to them and said no thanks. I told them I was trying to avoid sugar, but thinking back I think that might have been rude? Maybe I should have thrown it away or gave it to someone else. =/
I had an interesting moment today, I ran into someone I know and he said it looked like I had lost 30 pounds (I last saw him a few weeks ago) and asked if I were dieting. I didn't give him too many details on what I'm doing but told him I've only lost 7 pounds. He didn't believe me. /shrug
I'm glad the results are showing already though, it's encouraging.
