  • New Here and have questions about Induction

Hello, My name is Whitney and I am new here. Started Atkins this past Thurs. Just have a few questions I cannot seem to find the answers to quicky here. I bought Keytone strips, what am I looking for on them? Also, am I in the induction period if I just started 4 days ago? And did I read somewhere you can't have Sugar Free Jello? It has no carbs and or sugar so I was wondering since I have been having that for my nightly snack...And Induction advice would be appreciated.

    Hi.

Jello Brand Sugar Free Jello is sweetened with aspartame, the artificial sweetener Dr. Atkins told us to avoid because it inhibited weight loss in some of his patients. (re-read the artificial sweetener paragraph in the Acceptable Food List)

Jolly Rancher makes a sugar free gelatin dessert that is sweetened with Splenda. It's technically "legal", but we at ADBB encourage members to use Induction as a time to break our food addictions. Let's face it, many of us are fat because we've been feeding our sweet tooth.
