  • ..now what??

:yikes I was doing great following the rules, and feeling the weight start to drop, but it seemed REALLY bad to not share in our baby's first birthday cake...just a little...then somehow, I rationalized, I had already blown the day, so I may as well jam in a few faves while I could. (I'll spare you the sugar coated details.) ACH! I have learned nothing about discipline in a week and a half! I did go right back on this morning with no whining and no cheating. I feel good. Question is: now what? Have I stalled out? Do I have to count two weeks from today? Or, (hope, hope, hope) will I start where I left off.

Since you have apparently just started and this wasn't just a piece of birthday cake, it turned into more treats and non-induction foods. ... rejoin induction and see how long it takes to get into ketosis. I'd recommend that you stay cheat free for 14 days and then move on to OWL if that is your ultimate decision.

And just a suggestion, you may want to add your starting weight and your current weight in your siggy within the profile along with your height. It always makes responding to questions for us easier.

Thanks Irish, afraid of that answer, but resigned to do it!

I think the answer is really up to you and how you want to approach this WOE. If it were me, I wouldn't start all over as the first two weeks give you the information that you need to know about your body, like how metaboically resistant you are, etc. So repeating it won't do any good. Just get back into ketosis and start from there, like IrishIrish advised
Remember this is a life long way of eating, not really a diet plan so, if you look at it in those teams, its just a little tiny bump in the road. Shake it off, charge it up to a learning tool and keep on truckin. WE CAN AND WILL DO THIS
