  • Oils in water

Can anyone give me any guidance as I cannot find the info any where.

I have heard that we can put oils in water, i.e. Oregano oil etc but unable to find any written info.

Any ideas or info that I could read?

    Thank-you :hug

I think some people put in oils to flavor their waters. Frankly, it's on par with putting olive oil into your water, imo.

I drink ice cold, filtered water. Ice cold because I find it more refreshing and therefore easier to drink. Filtered because my municipal water tastes and smells horrible and because using a $20 Filter Pitcher is alot more inexpensive in the long run than buying bottled water at $1-2 per bottle.

      Sally,

You can buy essential oils at most any health food or vitamin store, just make sure the word "essential" in on the label and double check the labels for alcohol and sugar.

I agree with Megs, and find ice cold water with a little lemon zest or cucumber adds a really nice clean taste. I drink mine plain though but you can add the above if you want a zap of flavor.

I buy bottled water in 24 oz sports bottles because they're so easy and convenient, plus you always know exactly how many ounces of water you have had - if you can get to a place like Cosco, Sams Club or even Wal mart and Target will run great sales. I just bought 48 bottles for $5.99 - that's a dime a bottle!

Thanks for your responses. I do drink plenty of waters, usually as cold as possible. I noticed a mention about the oils I thought umm thats sound refreshing and a change, but found no further info on them.

Like yourselves I can't drink tap water very well, and always drink bottled, never without a bottle...but it's not as cost effective as yours in the states.

        Thanks for your info :joy
