help please

  • help please

    I just went over to fitday to figure out if I am getting enough carbsin and I put in broccoli and was suprised how many carbs it has.
    It says broccoli is ok in the iduction phase.
    Does everyone else avoid this veggie in the induction phase.

    Oh sure I ate it. Remember that we count net cabs.
    One cup of broccoli only have 3.5 net carbs. Not bad for lots of good nutrition.

        Don't forget that you need to subtract the amount of fiber from the carbs, thus giving you the net carbs (the amount that Liv gave). The amount of fiber should be in the nutrition table at the bottom of your menu for the day. Gotta love that broccoli!

            Any diet that demands that you give up nutritious, delicious broccoli is automatically suspect, in my opinion!

              And when you move to rung one of OWL you can add an extra 5 net carbs of that yummy broccoli which is about 1.5 cups extra!!
