    i like to drink cinnamon and chamomile tea, with a little splenda. Is the tea bad or ok for induction??

    It is OK. But read ingredient list just in case. Sometimes sugar may be added.

      Until yesterday I used to drink green tea and herbal teas, 6-7 cups a day,,1-2 of them with splenda,,,,,yesterday I checked it with Fitday software, the PC version, and it showed one cup has 1 gr Carb !!!!!!!! wow,

      so I was just taking 6 grams of my 20 just by tea,,,,,!! today just had a few coffees , but I wouldnt mind having one cup of tea......consider it 1 unit for carbs.........

        Can i just ask is it only added sugar i should be wary of? or is there another ingredient i have to watch out for? thanks

          Other ingredients too. Some teas may have malt in them or soy.
