  • Back again how does it look

    So how does this menu look?? I'm 5'11 250 pounds and I'd like to lose 30 lbs


    Breakfast- 2 eggs. 3 strips Turkey bacon

    Lunch- 2 cups of ground beef fried up with 2 cups of steamed broccoli, mustard,garlic powder and cheddar cheese grated on it

    Dinner- Basically same as lunch but sometimes it's chicken or Steakhouse Angus cube steak


    If I get hungry I usually snack on some bacon. I also do the water cure, which is drink half your body weight in ounces of water a day. You add 1/8 tsp of sea salt for every 16 ounces of water.

    I am not sure about adding the salt to your water. I have never heard of it before. One suggestion as alternative to broccoli would be to have 2 cups of salad greens. And also add 2 small mid morning and afternoon snacks, like cucumber slices, to keep your metabolism going.

      I'm still a little weary about it myself, but I didnt think it would cause too much havoc. If you;re wondering about it you can read about it here

        I would not add salt to my water. I get MORE than enough through what eat.
        As for your menu. Broccoli is listed under "other vegetables" in Atkins (pg 126) which means you should only eat one cup of it daily.
