  • I did it!

    I did it. I started today. I know I posted that I was going to last week. But I was on the South Beach diet, and had too much stuff left over that needed to be used. So here is the food for the day so far.

    2 Scrambled Eggs 3 Slices Turkey Bacon (only thing other than candian on hand) Eggs were cooked in two table spoons of olive oil.

    1 Can of tuna with two table spoons of mayo mixed in. 1 Cup green beans. With a table spoon olive oil cooked in.

    For dinner I am thinking some steak cooked in olive oil (love that stuff :sarcasm )some more green beans also, maybe spinach.

    Fitday so far for the day says: 74% fat. 4% carbs. 22% protien

    Keep in mind I still have dinner to go. After dinner I will post what fitday says agian. So how am I doing so far?[/u]

    Congrats!

    I am new to the WOL (Way of Life) also. I keep reading people who scramble their eggs in Olive oil. I wonder why....There isn't a need for oil at all. I do my bacon first and then pour out the left over grease and leave enough in the pan to do my eggs. Makes them taste so much better!!! Try it! you'll love it.

      Hi and welcome.

      You're pretty much done with the green beans today. Green beans are an "other" vegetable and are limited to 1 cup daily. You can still have two cups of vegetables off the "salad" list.

      Otherwise, it looks good. Just remember to drink your daily water requirement. I think on SB you're allowed to count non-water beverages as part of your water requirement--on Atkins only water counts as water.

        Thanks guys...also SB does not let you count anything for water but water.

        I drink a lot of water about a gallon a day. It's pretty much all I drink. :joy
