Hi Folks, :wave
Tonight must be water night! I know a lot of us have problems making the water we drink taste better. Adding flavors is a problem when looking for things that are carb and sugar free.
Here are a few suggestions that work for me, maybe one or two will work for you as well...now go drink your water!
Green Magma is great for you it's made from Young Barley Grass and has has had medicinal properties for centuries, you can buy it at any health food store but it has 2 carbs (Atkins freindly carbs) per teaspoon you need a 1/2 teaspoon to 24 ounces of water. It turns your water a clear emerald green, tastes fantastic and gives you alot of energy. To learn about it visit their site www.greenfoods.com
Cheers!

- * Add a little lemon zest, it's more "lemony" tasting than the juice and keeps the water clear
* Cucumber is great - add a slice without seeds, sounds strange but adds a fresh clean flavor
*Essential Oils like oregano or Mint are great, just make sure it says "essential" on the label and check ingredients for alcohol and sugar. They're available at most any health food or vitamin store
* A sprig of fresh mint adds a lot of flavor and a little goes a long way
*If you like your water Ice cold keep it as close to the bottom of your fridge as possible
* Toss a bottle in the freezer, when you leave the house it'll melt down and always be ice cold
*Make Iced tea with decaf green tea - very subtle flavor and very good for you. Whether this counts towards you water intake is debatable. By the book it doesn't, as a treat it's just fine
* Add Splenda, remember one packet = 1 carb but 1/2 a packet with a teaspoon of lemon juice gives you instant lemonade, you can do the same thing with lime
* Try herbs & Spices, if using dry crush them to release the oils, Tarragon, Basil and Rosemary actually taste very good and impart a kind of exotic flavor, different then when used in cooking
