  • smokehouse almonds??

    my quesetion is ... i went to walmart and i wanted to get some snacks besides jello/string cheese and i saw these smoke house almonds that 28 pieces had a net carb of 3g ... is this induction friendly?? cause i have been eatting almonds every now and then before i bought the ones today.

    i checked the acceptable foods .pdf file and all i see is that nuts aren't allowed but are almonds considered nuts??

    appreciate any and all help guys and gals

    i have lost 4 lbs already :-p and i have only been on the diet since monday but then again i do 40 minutes of intense cardio and 30-40 minutes of intense weight lifting as well

    yes, I believe that almonds are nuts.

      Remember that commercial jingle, or have I just dated myself?

      Those Smokehouse almonds have some sugar in the coating too, and are so tasty that even if you were on the nut rung, they could lead (me at least) to an extreme over-do. Beware.

      But don't freak out about having had some nuts on induction; I did the same thing, because I hadn't really read the DANDR book. Just carry on, and add a couple days to your induction. It's already working, even with the nuts you've had. Good for you.

        I am still doing induction and have added almonds and yogurt to my eating plan due to no appetite and getting light headed.

        I see no harm if you are working out very rigorously as you seem to be and can keep your portions under control.

          I used to love those, but watch out because they have mad salt in them (and also mad calories). I find it hard to put down the can, and by the time I do I've already had three days' salt and a whole day's calories.
          Gettin' there.
