  • Day 3: had to eat out for lunch! stress!

    Hi Guys,

Okay so its my second maybe third attempt at this WOE. I am on day three and woke up this morning with a really bad headache and a general feeling of "yuck"! I know that this is normal as it has been the reason I have given up before never getting past day five in both my attempts.

I really really want to stick it out but i went to work today already feeling crap to find that the canteen was being renovated and i had nowhere to scramble my eggs, I panicked, I was starving! I resorted to a single sausage which i removed from the "roll" it came in and drank some water.

This tide me over until lunch when the girls decided that they wanted to go to a sushi bar... they promised me I would find some atkins friendly food there but I wasnt convinced. I ended up having a prawn salad, I didnt eat alot of the salad as it was drownd in some vinagarette and I didnt know if it was safe for me to eat, i then had two chicken skewers with some onion they were lovely but had some sticky type of soy sauce on them I also wasnt sure if i should be eating that!

I am now very stressed... will it always be this much pain eating out with friends? also i went to the chemist and bought a tiny bar of atkins choc which said it had 2net carbs in, I ate it. I am feeling down because I feel i let myself down by sucuming to the choc craving!

Have I ruined the progress of the past two days?

    thanks
There is a skinny girl inside me screaming to get out but the carbs wouldnt let her....I want to know what it feels like not to have to breathe in to look slimmer all the time...I want to breathe out and not look 6mths pregnant..

I would say research the places near your work and home and know the menu and what your choices are so you do not have trouble in the future and feel so overwhelmed. Remember you are doing this for YOU!! If there is nothing friendly for you where they are going, it is ok to pass this time. It is better if you really want to be successful to make the right choices I think. But someone else may say differently.

You can do it!! Be strong.. You are on day 3 it will get easier as time goes on.
