Well, I have been trying to keep my spirits up this week because I have not felt much different and I peeked at the scale on day five and had gained slightly. I stayed off the scale until this morning after a full week and I had lost less than a pound. I have been in ketosis since the morning of day 3 (when I bought the sticks) and have followed the plan precisely. No bars, no shakes, no nuts, under 20 net carbs a day. I have been very diligent and i supposed the ketosis shows that. I took measurements against my better judgement and they were exactly the same.I am not looking for a miracle. I dont expect the amazing results others are seeing, but I do expect to lose something. Given what I have been eating and the ammount I have exercised, this really does not add up. It is discouraging, but more than that, a bit baffling.
Any thoughts?
It says in the book and on here how the quick results are so motivating - it really keeps you going. Well, when the opposite is true it is really demoralizing.
