ok so tommorrow is my week weigh in but of cousre i can't stay away from my scale/ So when I started i weighed 273 ish or 272. Ok on friday the scale said 266. Now yesterday i started my menstrual cycle and i usually gain about 3 to 4 pounds while on my cycle but the scale still said 266. So can anyone tell me their weightloss experince during their cycles? do you still lose weight at all? Also i'm craving for something sweet so bad. But i'm trying to be strong.

You can loose during your cycle. I think if you keep the sodium levels down you will be fine. Drink lots of water as usual.
As for something sweet. I made sugar free jello and whip cream and made a mock fruit salad- no fruit. It was ok.
If you are looking for something chocolate go to Linda low carb and she has a few induction friendly sweets.

I was in your shoes last week. I started induction on Sat lost 5lbs in the first two days, then TOM came and for the rest of the week I did not see the scale budge. On Sat I weighed in for my formal weekly weigh in and I said goodbye to another 2lbs for a total loss of 7lbs for week one! They say to stay off the scales during TOM, but on induction is it really hard. I also lost 5 total inches. So, hang in there....it will be over soon.

i typically just stall. this is typical for me. Lets say my period comes on the 28th of the month, this is how my cycle will go:

11th: 155.5
12th: 156.5
13th: 156.5
14th: 155
15th: 155
16th: 155

I am a scale junkie, so I know where you're coming from! I WILL NOT get anywhere near the scale next month at that time. It's just discouraging and misleading. I've got a friend on Atkins who doesn't own a scale and I think I'm going to loan mine to her one week out of the month!
I didn't have any cravings this month and you may not once you bask in ketosis awhile, but who knows? Every woman's body is different. I did have a little whoosh once ToM decided to leave the premises.

I agree...boy that scale could be viscious! And once you get on, you could never get off. I learned my lesson from my first time around now this time I have no clue how much I weigh...time will tell!!
Try to think of what you will weigh 3 months from now....instead of picking on couple pounds here and there! It's working for me so far!
Sorry i can't help with the sweets craving cause thats something i need help with too

ok so today is my weekly weigh in because i started last tuesday. Today i weigh 265. I'm shocked i lost a pound while on my cycle thats great because i usually gain 4. I'm so glad i decided to stick with this!
