  • Back on Track (pun intended)

A few things have happened over the past few months:

at the end of September I went off of atkins. I was just too busy to prepare properly. For me to be successful, it takes planning! Lots and lots of planning! I have to make menus and go grocery shopping accordingly. If I don't have food in the fridge, I end up eating whatever my boyfriend eats which is typically pizza, arbys, wendys--gross!

So basically here is my atkins history:

Started at 191 (heaviest) in March of 2007
Got to 170 by September of 2007
    Went off for the winter
Came back at 175 in March of 2008
Got to 151 by September of 2008
Went off for a couple months
Came back on Friday 01/09/09 at 162
Am currently on Day 4 of induction and weighed in this morning at 156.6
Goal: 129 by the time I die.

So the reason I went off for the past couple of months is, like i said, no planning. For one, I was in transition for housing- so no fridge of my own. extremely busy leaving a fulltime job and starting a new one, the holidays, and shopping for a house.

In the past two months I have:

    started a new job
    moved in with my boyfriend
    bought a condo
attended 4 funerals (including one this upcoming saturday)
    dealt with holiday food
    bought a treadmill

So here I am, I got my treadmill on Saturday and ran on it for the first time last night. It's so nice to have one at home!! Anyway, back on track, and back to the forums.

I guess this answers the question of why you're on induction. :P

I am jealous of anybody with a treadmill at home.
