    Re: I messed up

    id start your induction over

but also remmber the diet wont always be like this the start is always the hardest part!

i know you feel crappy atm with out carbs and stuff and think its hard to keep this up but over time it gets easier and easier too a point where you dont crave carbs at all but also by then you will feel better than you ever have so just stick it out

maybe to make things easier try eating lots of fat and other low carb foods so your always full that may make it easier during the induction

      Re: I messed up

I dont think ive been eating enough as it goes.

Its hard to keep it up at work, theres no endless supply of food here so its up to me to make sure I have enough.

Im not gona eat any more carbs..and im going to excercise more.

I've had a really bad morning and I think I just cracked

I feel like ive let myself down.

all I can do is just stick it out.

      It wasnt even worth it

        Hey What's up?

Everyone has them days, when u just want to give up and feel down..u've come all this way, just don't make it into a habit, think about how much more confident you will become, how great you will look, it's good to saty active, have a lot of water, eat good filing protein and veg, so it fills you up, leaving you feeling good too, don't forget the fat too, u gotta eat fat to lose fat! Good luck

            Re: I messed up

hey ski!! yay some UK ppl !!

Today is my 4th time on induction, i only successfully managed it once before but i think this time i will succeed again. It takes time to get our heads around a new habit. Just continue on induction and up your exercise to make up for it. I think the only way i am able to do this diet is if i prepare and plan ahead otherwise it all goes down hill.

Good luck and keep posting lots!!

                Re: I messed up

Woah!! Firstly, I am not quite sure you need to start induction again - you may still find you get straight back into Ketosis and still burn the fat. I would up the water intake - in fact double it and then double it again.

And secondly, and most importantly - this is not a no carb diet - its a low carb diet and YOU HAVE TO EAT YOUR CARBS VIA VEGGIES - or this way of eating will not work.

If you are not eating enough either, that is the worse thing you can do - I eat loads and I mean loads and the weight is steadily going. If I can do this diet, any one can.

Don't give up! You can do this. Ask yourself why you had the cheat and then ensure you are fully prepared for next time!!!

Have you read the book? If you haven't, get your hands on a copy and devour it! It will help no end.

                Lots of luck!

                  Re: I messed up

Yea I've read it..and i do eat a lot (to the point where i cant eat any more) but its always breakfast that gets me!
I cant get into the habit of eating non-breakfasty foods at breakfast time!! lol
Ive drunk a gallon of water today so im hoping that will help! and I am carrying on the day with renewed enthusiasm.

Salad and chicken for lunch, burger with salad and homemade coleslaw for dinner..sorted!!

                    Re: I messed up

                    You can do it Ski!

Dont let that litte cheat throw you off. I know in my past as soon as i cheated once, my mind played tricks on me. Leading me to give up because i thought if i cheated then it wasn't worth it to conitnue, and thats BULL!

Just keep going! Like some one told me on here not too long ago:

Practice makes perfect! Just keep on you will get it!
Hang in there cause i'm going through it too...it a battle between ourselves and our bodies, and we shall win!!!

Here we go again, Atkins is the only way!!

I agree with Lady Bethany. Just pick up where you left off, especially since you didn't blow the rest of the day.

The most important thing to do is to figure out why you didn't have appropriate foods around you and what you can do to make sure you have appropriate foods with you.
