Check the corn beef label. It should have no carbs. Some corn beef might have sugar or fillers that are a nono. The fried cabbage is fine and a staple in my house.

just remeember cabbage is a one cup a day veggie if you only have 2 cups of the salad veggies so don't go too wild.
I too am having corned beef and cabbage today as are many Atkineers world wide and loving our WOE on this holiday.

          Hi 2Big! :wave

          Sounds delicious!

Why not boil a corned beef? all you do is add
          • 1 corned beef brisket, about 4 pounds
            1 small bay leaf
            6 peppercorns
2 to 3 rutabagas, cut in chunks
            1 small whole onions, peeled

Simmer till tender..and enjoy! you can also shred the left overs (makes it like pulled beef) and would be excellent for casseroles, Jamaican Jerk Beef, Spicy Asian Beef and warm beef on wilted greens salad...and of course corned beef and eggs!

When should I be over for dinner?

          Peter :hug

And even some of us for whom today isn't a holiday are having corned beef and cabbage!! What a co-incidence.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
