And don't buy into the idea that the food will get boring. I think I read somewhere that most people only eat about 10 different things on a regular basis. If you make the effort to cook and try new things, the list of great Atkins food is endless. If you haven't browsed Linda Sue's terrific recipe site yet, you definitely need to get over there now!

I started at around the 230 mark and now am at a healthy 150-155 and have stayed there with no issues by following the plan. I couldn't be happier and don't feel like I'm missing out on anything, and I want you to feel that way too Kami! Keep your head up and a positive attitude, you have TONS of great people here who are more than happy to support you!





They just don't get that Atkins it is a healthy lifestyle! But being 'allergic' to starches and sugars is understandable to most people.
