I bought Dana Carpender's Carb Gram Counter book last at Borders Books for $4.99.
It has a small size about 4 x 6 x 3/4 inches. So it can fit into large pockets, purses, briefcases, and back packs.
There's sections in the beginning with low carb tips. It also has section with Fast Food data: the carbs in a bunless burger from McDonalds, Wendy's etc, as well as the nutritional data on the regular items at these restaurants.
She calls "net carbs" usuable carbs.
Pretty good carb counter.
