Re: can someone help me
Then you are not on induction. One of the rules (!) of induction is to eat 3 cups of veggies per day.im on induction,,and i hadnt added any vegtables before
Vegetables contain nutrients which are essential for your health. They also contain fiber, so you don't get... umm, stuck. Atkins is not a desperate weight loss race. You should learn healthy eating habits that you'll follow for the rest of your life and ditch the ones that made you gain weight in the first place! During induction, how do you get your daily vitamins and minerals if not by eating veggies?can some one explain to me what adding the vegtables to induction does? does it help you lose more?
Is it morning where you live? Sorry, I didn't check your info before beginning to write this. Because I don't understand what you have been eating today... only meat, butter and oil?!i havent had any carbs yet today
You should be eating 2 cups of salad veggies and 1 cup of veggies from the "other" list, OR 3 cups of salad veggies. The list is here:so how many cups of cabbage could i eat?
And if you want Atkins to work for you and not be one of those diets that "never worked for me, it's all rubbish", then you should also read the book! As a start, the rules of induction are in this sticky:
"Get action. Seize the moment. Man was never intended to become an oyster."

Do you have the book yet? It is explained well there and it also have a list of everything legal to eat on induction. Check here in these threads too find out what foods can be eaten and how to do it.
As to why. I believe Atkins wanted us to be healthy. Vegetables give us healthy and important nutrients. And if we learn to eat tons of vegetables instead of starches and sugars we will become thin and stay thin. That is what I want in my journey. Lose weight, keep it off and be healthy.
(Georgiana beat me to it. She is fast and gives great advice.
