    Oh boy,

What atkins book are you following? sorry jello of any kind is not on the induction phase.
If you have not been following the induction plan by the book it have basically been a wasted 13 days.

I have had PCOS since age 12
Atkins board member almost a year.

      Re: Disaster!!!!

Drink lots of water and extend your induction longer. Maybe not the full 14 days, but another week or so to make sure you're firmly in ketosis before moving up the OWL rungs. I am sure that you are upset, but I don't think it's a complete loss. Throw in an extra workout or two... chalk it up to experience. Now you KNOW! lesson learned. move on. Don't let it discourage you and cause you to give up. You'll get yourself back on track and this will just be a bump in the road as long as you don't let it derail you completely! hang tough!

You are right in principle, Fennela - Jello brand as far as I know is sweetened with aspartame which is one of the sweeteners Dr Atkins told us to avoid. However he did say we could make our own with a 'legal' sweetener now and again.
And for dessert, have assorted cheeses or flavored gelatin made with sucralose and topped with whipped heavy cream.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Don't worry Jasmine, it was not a waste of 13 days, for you are eating healthier! I have had slips up like that too. In my experience, it has not affected me much as long as I got right back on track and not wallowed in it.
