  • Starting Over..One Mistake.

Day 9..7lbs down...and now I'm back to Day 1. I cracked!! Oh well it was my first attempt and now im more than ready to do this properly its quite difficult with being in college and the constant unhealthy food options surrounding me..but I know I can do it. and my roomates are VERY supportive which helps alot.

Here we go again.. DAY ONE induction begins.

I'm still finding myself hungry at night and needing some sort of snack which is still difficult to find...

hope everyone is staying on track! I wish i didn't have those multiple mochas and a cookie last night. here we go again~

PS. I haven't been using the ketosticks.just cause my friend said they can discourage you..whats everyones feeling? I was definatly still losing weight and inches..but I wasnt using the strips!

Hey there Danielle37 you have already got a fantastic result with your amazing 7 lbs down.
A little hiccup but your straight back to it on the straight and narrow with great attitude and mind set.Sounds great to me.
Keto stixs I can't comment on as I don't use them.
Good luck on you journey and big success to you

      Hi Danielle
If it was only one 'incident' not several days of off-plan eating then there is no need to restart counting your 14 days induction.

If you do so then you will not get a realistic idea of what your metabolic resistance to weightloss by comparing your 14 days loss to the chart in DANDR as the numbers will not include the weight you have lost up to now.

Also if we had to restart induction each time we 'slipped' in our food choices some of us would never be eligible to move onto the main weightloss phase of Atkins, OWL

So if yesterday was day 9 then today is day 10 and well done for not deciding you might as well binge on carbs once you had 'blown it' with your first cookie!

Is there any way you can obtain/prepare some 'legal' snacks to have on hand when you feel hungry at night? I used to always have slices of gouda cheese and ham so I could make myself a quick ham/cheese rollup at those times on induction.

Or boil up some eggs to have for handy high fat snacks?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
