  • Cream Cheese and Wipped Cream with Splenda

I'm in my 14 day of induction and I'll continue since I need to lose at leat 7 more pounds and I feel great. Up to day I have lose 8libs and I'm in ketosis (mid)....so I'll continue!

I enjoy my meals but I have to confess that this week in different days I eat:

    1) Whipped Cream Cheese with splenda and butter (like the top of carrot cake)
    2) Whipped Cream with Splenda

My question is, if is really bad eating this and if is not, why do I feel terrible guilty when I did.

This has not slow my metabolism and I did not over eat (just a few spoons)....but I felt guilt.

    Pls some comments...thanks!

Heavy cream is allowed during Induction. It's limited to 2-3 tablespoons daily or 3 fluid ounces as a Special Category Food.

When you whip liquid heavy cream, it typically doubles in volume.

Using Splenda is allowed during Induction, however, there is a limit on how much you can use daily.

So as long as you stay within these limits, you may eat it, as long as it doesn't interfere with your weight loss.

As for feeling guilty about eating high fat foods----chalk it up to all that "fat is bad" brainwashing. Don't worry, I felt like I was being very naughty when I began Induction because I was eating cream, butter, full fat cheeses, etc. But when you get used to eating natural foods and rejecting artificial things like margarine, you'll stop feeling guilty and start feeling healthy!

I have been making something similar and dipping raspberries, strawberries and blueberries in it.............

It is so sinfully good, that it feels like your cheating!!

It is basically a no-bake cheesecake...........

I take 1 block of philadelphis cream cheese
4 oz of heavy whipping cream
splash of sugar-free davincis vanilla syrup
      1 tablespoon lemon juice

Mix all together until light and fluffy. Refrigerate for about an hour........

I use it as a dip for my berries and it is oh soo good!!!

Since this is the induction forum I would just point out that berries are not allowed on induction. I love that recipe though. I think I will try it.
