I think that if you have a really high metabolism and are going towards fitness, you'll lose a lot of weight, but no one can say for sure! I think you should shoot for high goals and know that when you're doing your best you are going to be so much better off in the long run for it, even if you don't hit the high mark you're hoping for. :hug

Jason, :wave
Amazing work out! Keep at it...for me, getting through a one mile walk is a personal triumph!
Can you lose 66 pounds in 100 days? Who knows, there are no guarantees except for this one:
If you continue to do what your doing, stay the course, tough out those cravings and stick to the plan you'll definitely lose weight and inches - any pounds that fall short of your goal will pale in comparison to your new found confidence and enhanced self esteem...and again, that's guaranteed.
Keep doing what you're doing!

Jason,
I'm 47 and want to see 104 like my Grandad did - right up until his last day he walked each morning, read the New York Times and was in better shape than most people I know in their 40's
At 30 I was 175, little body fat and a 32 inch waist...at around 35 I started watching my waist size go from large..to xlarge..to xxxlarge and finaly to "watch out! it's coming towards you!"
Belive me, your very wise to be making these changes now. My advice is pretty simple and take it for whatever it's worth:
- Never forget Atkins isn't a race - it's not a competition between you and anyone else. Don't pressure yourself with goals measured by scale readings and tape measures. The profound health benefits of Atkins alone are enough reason to stick with this way of life - the weight loss is just the perk we get along the way.

I agree with what has been said about not putting yourself under pressure to achieve a particular number of pounds lost in a set time. Some people get upset if they dont meet their target and give up completely and we dont want that to happen to you :hug
And I wanted to add that if you are doing the amount of exercise you mentioned you might well find that even if you dont lose the 60 pounds you might LOOK as if you have lost that amount :yikes
Many people here report that they can get into smaller clothes now after doing their Atkins than they did in earlier years at the same weight.
Remember as one of the mods (can't remember who) often says - unless you have your weight tattooed on your forehead no-one but you will know the pounds figure!!Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

Peter said,I totally agree with that. Being that you are male, your weight loss probably will be quick depending on certain factors and your metabolic resistance is a big part of that. But I warn you with all the exercising you are doing, you may see gains a little before loss or small losses because all that exercising is building a lot of muscle mass which is good but will fool you a little with a couple pounds gained for a little bit. Just ignore it and go on and you will see a change and feel the difference. Also depends on if you stay OP (on plan) all the time. Cheating here and there will ruin it. Just remember get all wyour water in, do the book as follows and you will be fine. Good luck and congrats on doing so well and all that exercise you are doing! I am jealous, I couldn't lift a pickle farther than my mouth right now, let alone lift any weights! LOL! But seriously, 60 lbs in 3 months? Thats kinda asking alot. Losing that in 6 months would be better, safer and not hard on your body. Don't set yourself up with too lofty a goal, like the others have said. take your time.Belive me, your very wise to be making these changes now. My advice is pretty simple and take it for whatever it's worth:
