  • *sigh* Back again!

Today, I'm on Day 1 of Induction. I had fully planned on getting back on Atkins 1/1/09, but decided to do WW...unsuccessfully, I might add. I'm back here today, hoping to finally get to goal sometime in my lifetime. DH and I are TTC baby #1, so I'm trying to stay dedicated as we work towards that goal. Hopefully I'll get the majority of my weight off before getting pregnant. This is my motivation for staying on the plan for good this time.

How does my first day look to you??

B: 3 egg omelette w/cheddar cheese and 3 slices of low sodium/no sugar added bacon
    L:
5 large slices of fat free turkey breast lunch meat and 2oz. sliced cheddar
    S:
1/2 c. celery and cream cheese
    D:
Whole chicken leg, 1 c. steamed spinach, 1 1/2 c. mixed veggie salad & Cardini caesar dressing

Why waste a second not loving who you are?

    Welcome back, Kristen

Your food choices look fine to me though do check you are not exceeding your 3-4 ounces of cheese including cream cheese and any cheese in dressings.

You might also try to spread your veggies out throughout the day to spread any blood sugar 'spikes'.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

I'd gnaw off my own arm in hunger if I only ate that!

General rule of thumb for success: If it requires a degree in chemical engineering to pronounce it, you probably shouldn't eat it.
