Congrats Jason - first on the 8 pounds and recognizing immediately that you jumped the track by eating the honey roasted peanuts. If possible cleaning the house of those temptations may make life easier on you, but if not, I ma confident with asfrustrated as you are right now recognizing the trigger (the idea that made 5 cups of honey-roasted peanuts sound good) can be beaten down into submission.

Non-sugar sweetened decaf tea is allowed on the diet, but is not a substitute for water. Get your water in (98oz/day by my count), and you can decide whether or not to have some tea.

Anyhow, I wish you the best with starting over. I am sure you have reclaimed your commitment to the WOE and resistance to temptation. Next time you feel like indulging yourself "off plan" remember this time and this feeling of disappointment, and decide for yourself if it is worth it or not. I am thinking you will decide your goal is more important than any cheat you might have.

glad you are jumping back up on the incution wagon after your leap off. Peanuts are a very problimatic nut for many mnay folk.
Drink lots of water today and watch out as the craving sireens will be a calling your name today.

We don't go back to day one of the 14 day you just go from theroi and see what your weight loss ois in Day 15. At that point read chapter 12 and 13 and decide if you will do a long induction or move to OWL so you can have some nuts as part of your Atkins weight loss when you get to rung 3

Make you some acceptable snakcs ready to consume so you can reach for them when you are hungry.

      Happy low carbing.

No more cheating, son. Don't lose your ball in the tall weeds. You don't need the weight of the world on your shoulders to throw up in Tijuana, and you don't need to fail on this way of eating. Remember, if you want more, you have to require more from yourself.

:clapping I'm glad you're getting right back on track!!!! "Its not that you failed 1,000 times you've tried successfully 1,000 times" --Bill Cosby. You WILL and CAN DO IT!!!! :icondance. I think your problemo is the same as mine the dreadful---->sweets weather it be real or artificial. I'm HIGHLY sensitive to it because that was my carb of choice. So I can't touch the fake or real stuff, or I'll go bananas craving outta control. Look at what your weaknesses are in the food dept., that is what you shouldn't have in Induction Phase I. I wish you very best Jason :hug I'm glad you're here.
