welcome you need to sit down and make a list of your goals for your weight loss and your reasons for doing Atkins make a copy of it and post it where you can read it daily and carry a copy so you can pull it out every time you think about chating andask yourself is this action helping achieve my goals or not.

Duringthe change from carb for fuel to fats for fuel you will be going through withdrawals just like a drug addict and your body will be revolting every way it can to try to get a carb fix again. you need to be ready for it and just hang on knowing you will be fine in a day or two and you will be closer to acheiving what you want a healthier smaller you.

    Ha[[y low carbing.

Welcome to Atkins! give it a few days, after you experience "induction flu" just keep sticking with it, all your carb cravings will go away - provided your sticking to the plan, and you will feel better then you probably have in your entire life. I know I did.

So keep with it and we are all here for you! Just don't forget to drink your water and excercise! :joy

Then you are in luck tripplezblakk as this isn't a diet at all - just a more balanced way of eating :yikes

Have you ever heard of a diet that tells you to leave the skin on a chicken leg or add cream and butter to vegetables? LOL

Or tells you to eat whenever you are hungry? :yikes

The Atkins Way of Eating is a pleasure - not a punishment so relax, plan your meals and your exercise and ENJOY the ride :yes
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

          THIS WOE

THIS WOE OF EATING, IS AMAZING. U WILL SOON FIND THAT U GET TO EXPERIMENT WITH THE FOODS ON THE INDUCTION FRIENDLY LIST, AND U GAIN ALL THE ENERGY U NEED TO EXERCISE UR BUTT OFF (LITERALLY)!

IT IS EASY FOR EVEYONE THAT HAS GOTTEN USE TO THIS WOE TO SAY STICK WITH IT, BUT THEY ALL HAVE GOOD REASON FOR THAT ADVICE. SUCCESS IS SO MUCH SWEETER WHEN U NEVER THOUGHT U COULD ACHIEVE IT! I BELIEVE IN U, WE ALL DO :hug
