  • Day 15 Down 12 Pounds!!!!

    This forum has become a daily ritual!

    Alright I in need of some advice. I've currently finished up induction with a loss of 12 pounds! I've recently (as in today) began hitting up the gym I've been swamped with school work the last couple of weeks so it feels good.

    Now, I have a significant amount of weight to lose..and I'm wondering if I should continue on with induction rules awhile longer before moving on to OWL. I'm quite happy with the foods I've been eating so it would not be difficult.

    However, I stand with a question! Opinions on extended induction and then owl, or heading right into OWL. Any advice stories would be great!

    Also, I'm from British Columbia and I can't seem to find pork rinds anywhere I'm in need a good snack! Anyone know anywhere?

    I did induction for far longer than I needed to and wish I had moved to OWL earlier in my Atkins journey.

    But if you are truly happy with the induction food choices and carb level there is nothing wrong in staying there and seeing how you go.

    Make sure you reconsider the 4 questions in chapter 13 now and again to see if your attitude towards being on induction has altered and you are ready to move on up.

    From what others have posted it is much easier to do OWL if you are still losing weight at a fair pace, so dont leave it too long

    F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )
