If there is no sugar added (check ingredients), then pickles are allowed on induction.

      Re: pickles?

I throw in a cut up dill pickle in tuna salad every day for lunch during the work week. It has certainly brought that little bowl of tuna to life. It was getting old and I found myself shoveling it down quickly with a spoon to get it over with!

        Re: pickles?

Pickles are great. They are "just" cucumbers though so they will have some carbs. And I suppose we have to count them with that 2 cups of legal stuff. I love some with tuna as well.

Pickles are also great for when you have a craving for sweets, the body doesn't know the difference between sweet and sour.

I love polish dills and throw some jalapenos in the jar with them. I believe in the thermogenic effect of hot foods and also that they curb your appetite. Probably why I pop nexium like tic tacs though.

I know it sounds weird but dill pickles really help with my sugar cravings. I cannot explain it.
