Re: worchester sauce
You need to look at the label to find something out about the number of carbs in it, plus what ingredients the brand you have contains.
I looked up the nutrition data for Sauce, worcestershire on the USDA website http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/
and it said for one cup of it there are 53.35 net carbs
So that would be about 3.3 net carbs per tablespoon, or 1.1 net carbs per teaspoon
Now the brand you use might have different numbers, but I would suggest that you keep the quantity fairly small if you decide to use it.
As for marinating with it, you would need to measure how much you put in the container then how much was not absorbed by the food then work out how much remains in the food (take one from the other) to see how many carbs to account for in the recipe.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Re: worchester sauce
Also be aware that Worcestershire sauce contains high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) which, contrary to those spiffy new ads on TV, is NOT OK in moderation, it's not OK at all!START 8/16/06 @ 270+~MG1: 220-12/2/06~MG2: 210-1/07~MG3: 199-3/2/07~MG4: 190-4/27/07~MG5: 180-7/04/07~GOAL: 170

Re: worchester sauce
Good point, Julie
It is not a sauce I buy so I have no clue what is in it, but if it has HFCS or any other of the sugar family in it then it is not suitable for Atkins.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
