  • BOOT CAMP WAS FANTASTIC!

If you get the chance to do Boot Camp, I highly recommend it.

Today I got on the scale for the first time since my boot camp
    induction started.

I consider staying away from the scale part of my carb recovery so I did not get on the scale during the 2 week period of time.

Nevertheless, it doesn't mean I don't get thrilled when the scale goes down.

I was amazed to discover that I have lost 11 pounds!!!

    I have gone from 196 to 185 !!!!

I was so suprised that I had to get on the scale 4 times before I would believe it. This is just fantastic. A WOE that works for me. And I don't have to go hungry or feel deprived!

    11 POUNDS!!!!!

    woo hoo!!!!

    When I started induction I was 196 pounds. Now I'm 185

    measurements:

    chest/bust 42 - now 41

    chest under bust 40 - now 39
    upper arm (meaure 1 do x's2) 26 - 25
i doubt i will ever lose much weight off my upper arms
i really like arm work when I lift weights

    waist 41 - now 39 - good, good, good

    hips 45 - 44

    thigh (measure 1 and X's 2) 42 - still 42
my thighs are as solid as a block of granite.
i don't think even dr atkins would know what to do
    about them

    neck 15 - 14

    wrist -- 6 - still 6
i never had chunky wrists anyway

    Calf -- 17 - 16

    ankle -- 10 - still 10

I am extremely pleased with the results of this induction. Not just because of the pounds lost, although that is amazing, how wonderful to be in the 80's again, and have hope of the scale going even farther down.

But the real joy for me is just the feeling of having control of my appetite. Of knowing WHAT to eat, and being able to stay away from the crappy stuff that caused me so much misery. I am FREE!!!!! Hurray!

I am happy to have finished induction and had such good results. I'm sure many of my menus in the future will be extremely simlar to my induction menus. Nevertheless, I have made the decision to switch to OWL.

I have been doing a formal and informal induction since February 1st. I do feel it is time for me to move on to the 2nd stage of Atkins.

I truly loved boot camp, it gave me valuable information that will help me for the rest of my life. Thank you everyone for helping me complete induction. I LOVE EVERYONE TODAY!

PLUS - my jeans are hanging off me!!!!

Awesome results tabekat, good for you! :hug I lost 3 pounds the first week, and none the 2nd (TOM) but those were the results I expected since I've been on induction for over 2 months now. I did go down a total of 5.75 inches though, so that rocks!

I have to agree the boot camp experience was well worth it. But a person really needs to make sure they have the time to commit every day. Some days I struggled LOL
