After i stopped atkins after weeks I was fine. I gained some back and my mom noticed I had gotten cellulite all over. my legs..stomach.. i had gained like 15 pnds..(which i am losing and have lost like 5 or 6 already..) she says its prob from the atkins fat as I have always had nice legs..she said to never do it again..and even if i dont listen to her..shhh. she doesn;t know I'm on it..even tho..I'm curious if all this fat is causing cellulite? I'm sure it will go away right with the pounds?

15 pound weight gain on someone who isn't terribly overweight to begin with will be very obvious.
The fat on your legs is probably due to the fat produced by the carbs you were eating when you went off Atkins.
Oh yeah, tell your mom that there is a thought that cellulite development is genetic. So someone either on her side or your dad's side of the family passed on bad genes.~Megs~

Cellulite isn't *fat*, it's uneven connective tissue. You do need some fat for it to appear, but then you need some fat to live, too.
What is Cellulite?
A 15lb gain isn't going to sprout cellulite. A 15lb loss isn't going to erase it. You mom needs to focus on important things like your education and mental health.
