I have a quick question. I have heard that while you are doing induction you shouldn't exercise, or at least take it really easy. Is this true?

Re: Exercise??
You could exercise if you are up to it but in induction getting the eating right and adjusting to being in ketosis should be the focus. But there is nothing wrong with starting out exercise if you feel OK.

Re: Exercise??
Dr Atkins hoped we would plan on exercising from the start of our Atkins journey but might need to wait till we had acclimatised our body to induction eating
Another important step in getting ready is to read Chapter 22 and have your exercise plan in place. (You may not want to implement this plan, however, until after the first two days on Atkins. In that forty-eight-hour period, you may feel tired and a bit off-kilter as your body makes its conversion from burning glucose to burning fat as its primary fuel.)
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
