  • After 2 weeks of induction..

I've lost 10 pounds! I stumbled for one day on Valentine's day weekend so I'm extremely happy with my progress so far! I plan on staying on induction until I feel I'm ready to move to OWL or I hit a serious wall on my weight loss.

Congrats to you. You definitely have a low metabolic resistance to weight loss according to the charts in the book. So you might want to reconsider delaying your move to OWL. Staying on Induction for folks with moderate to low metabolic resistance doesn't guarantee consistent weight loss nor the same rate of loss.

But it's up to you. Just know that some folks stay on Induction and hit a plateau that doesn't resolve until they move to OWL. Besides, OWL is more fun because you can typically eat more carbs than the magic 20 and you can eat foods that aren't on the Induction Acceptable Foods List.

Thanks for the great information. I didn't consider my metabolic resistance. I will give it another week and see how it goes!

          Weigh to go!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
