  • I am starting over

Good day to all of you. Yep! I am starting over. This is my third run and this time I want it to stick. I am starting induction again today. I am hoping to have the will power. I am going to be on this site constantly. I am going on a cruise in 5 days. I am going to stick with it even on the cruise. any ways to achieve this 14 days without getting caught up in the whole party scene. Please help! Thank u

Staying on this site WILL give you will power! It certainly gives ME the strength to carry on through out the day. In fact, many times, the thing that keeps me going is the excitement of getting to talk to everyone else about my progress in the way things are going. Talk as MUCH as you can on this board!

It's almost sort of like being in an AA meeting. Carbs are our addiction. Helping other people get through their troubles will only help you out even more in the end. It's a win win situation so get out there and start socializing with the rest of ADBB

If a tree falls in a forest out of hearing range of any living organism, did it make a sound?

If a person eats yummy stuff without counting the carbs, did it have carbs to begin with?

Sticking to plan can be acheived on a cruise if you are determined, as there will be plenty of 'legal' food to choose from.

Maybe have a word with the serving staff when you arrive and explain what you are choosing not to eat and see what they can offer you if you can't easily tell from the menus.

At catered 'do's in the past I have contacted the catering manager/staff beforehand and explained my dietary rules and they have always been keen to help and happy to accept the challenge of helping me stay on-plan without having to feel deprived!

Many chefs are only too pleased to be 'allowed' to cook with cream and butter
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
