No bother. Yes, on Fitday you do subtract the fiber.

      Re: Question regarding Fitday!

So, on a product that is 100% psyllium i.e. metamucil... when the label says "one rounded TEAspoon = 5 carbs"..... how do we input that into FitDay?

As 5 carbs, as zero carbs, or as the dietary fiber or soluable fiber subtracted from the 5 carbs to get "net carbs" ????

FitDay is great! Been using it for three years.

        Re: Question regarding Fitday!

I wondered how does that compare with the numbers used by fitday for psyllium seed, husks, ground and looked it up.

Looking at the numbers for one cup of ground psyllium husks it appears to have 108 grams total carbs less 96 grams fiber carbs making a net carb number of 12 grams. So assuming that one heaped teaspoon would be about the same as 2 flat teaspoonsworth then it would have 12/48x2 = 0.5 net carbs per serving.

The numbers you gave of 5 - 5 = 0 work out that way because they are using a small serving and rounding the numbers to whole figures rather than adding decimals, making a zero net carb count.

So I would use fitday's default entry and not bother to make a custom entry for it.,
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
