  • help me with my diet plan plz

    hi
    i am new and i am trying to understand the atkins. Could you please check my diet plan and see if i am going to do it right?thanks!!!

    breakfast: 2 slices of cheese and 2 slices of ham or 2 eggs black coffe decaf with milk
    snack: (i don't know..any ideas?)
    lunch:tuna, chicken, pork chop + 2 cups of lettuce or cabbage or zuchini
    snack:yogurt (is it ok? any other ideas?)
    dinner:feta cheese (i am from greece) and 1tomato or something like lunch. could i have these ready to made cup-a-soup?
    is posted somewhere a typical menu?or could someone tell me with what he/she is eating for ideas?
    i am a totally carb person...during induction can i have a kiwi fruit?or something sweet?

    The first two weeks of Atkins consist of the induction phase. During this time, you are only allowed to eat foods listed here:


    Those soups most probably contain illegal ingredients, including starches and/or sugar. So they are not allowed.

    You should really read the rules of induction before starting. They are here:

        Yoghurt and Milk are not OK on induction. Use cream for your decaf (you can have 3 tablespoons of cream a day).

        I think fetta is OK to use but remember to count the carbs (average for cheese is 1oz cheese = 1 carb)

        Ready made foods are a big no no. So your cup of soup is out. Make your own vege soup or chicken soup to have but count all the carbs that go into it and average it out for how many cups it makes.

        Sorry again but there is NO fruit on induction - I don't think it comes in until rung 2 or 3 of OWL and then it is berries, not other fruit.

        My average day is in my fit day journal - the link to it is in my signature. Remember that I am only on extended induction but so far so good and although the scales have moved the average 10% in the first two week, my centremetres are really moving.

            it is a good idea for you to read the book- then you can refer back to it when you are unsure- it really is a good read.
