Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. I've been on the plan for four days now and feel like I have a few pounds of dead weight in my gut. I can't think about eggs without getting sick to my stomach. Moving around the house takes a real effort. I'm only looking to lose 20 lbs so I'm not sure this is worth it. Does this pass? Thanks for the help.

Re: lead belly
Has there been any movement if you know what I mean?
Also there is such a thing we call induction flue - our body transits from using glucose as main fuel to using ketones and we may feel a bit under the weather a day while this is happening. I stayed in bed and relaxed with water, games and books.
I think you should think about eggs as friends. Very good friends. Many people have phobias about eggs and that translates to how they feel when they eat eggs. But all research show that eggs are very very healthy food and that we should eat plenty each week.
I recommend trying this recipe here. It rocks:
Also start thinking about recipes and stuff you can do. Here is a good site with suggestions.

Re: lead belly
If you don't like eggs, don't eat 'em! There are plenty of other induction-legal foods out there.
It sounds like you're being hit with what's called "induction flu", just like Liv said. Stay hydrated, take it easy, and this too shall pass.START 8/16/06 @ 270+~MG1: 220-12/2/06~MG2: 210-1/07~MG3: 199-3/2/07~MG4: 190-4/27/07~MG5: 180-7/04/07~GOAL: 170
