So I'm back on Atkins after falling prey to massive quantities of bread and pasta. I have a question about veggies, and I just realized I sent my book to my mom - 1500 miles away (dang it!) so apologies if this is in the book.
I know the rule is 2 c salad + 1 c other veg OR 3 c salad. However, I like to have lettuce as my salad and today I had 3 c lettuce and 1 c celery (whoops). Even though I went over the physical amount, this is nowhere near the 12-15 veggie carbs I should have per day.
So which is more important - sticking to the physical amount or the carb amount? Thanks!

I think it might take a day or two for me to get on track and figure out menus and such! I'm SO glad to have this forum because it's super helpful!
