  • Publix fried chicken tenders okay during induction?

So i go to publix to get all my meals they have great roasted chicken there, though i really like their fried chicken tenders, I am doing the induction my goal is to be very low carb some where around 5-10 carbs a day.

Should i just stay clear of the friend chicken tenders and only eat the roasted chicken they provide with the skin off?

Hello again. I see you don't want to read the links we gave you, so I'll answer you short.

Publix fried chicken, as far as I know, is breaded. Thus, it is not allowed on Atkins before OWL Rung 9. The roasted chicken should be fine as long as it has no sugars added (in the meat or in the spices). If you don't have the list of ingredients, there's no way to tell whether the chicken has sugars or not.

You should be eating three cups of vegetables per day -- 2 cups of salad veggies and 1 cup of "other veggies". Most of your net carbs should come from veggies. So, if you are eating 15 net carbs, at least 8 should come from vegetables.

You are not allowed to eat anything that is not on the list of induction-legal foods (check the links in the replies to your previous post if you want to read the list). Eating only chicken will do you no good. First, because, on Atkins, most of your calories should come from fat (Atkins is a high-fat diet, not a high-protein one). Second, because it's simply unhealthy.

You might lose weight on chicken, pork rinds and water, but it should be obvious that this is detrimental to your health. Besides, it is definitely *not* Atkins!

We answered this question thoroughly on one of your other posts. Do you ever go back and read our responses? Chicken tenders are not okay. You should eat the skin on chicken. You should read the book or at least read our responses we spend our time on, just as if we believe you really want to do Atkins.
People who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it.
