    well i am on second round of adkins. I lost good weight the first time. BUT I MESSED up and ate icecream and so much other stuff cause i just crashed and gained it almost all back. i was 126 now im 137. AHH i feel like crap. My boyfriend has noticed and i feel unattractive. Plus i feel like crap so it interfers with my daughter and our time. Im on day 3 now, does it always take longer the second or third time to start loosing. ANY advice?
    If at first you dont suceed try again.. IF i can do it. Anyone can.

    Most likely you are out of lipolysis (burning fat for fuel) so step one is to get you back into ketosis. You've already started that if you're on day 3. Some people lose the same if they start, stop, and restart. Some people lose more slowly if they start, stop, and restart.

    You say you weigh 137. What's your height and goal weight? How much do you want to lose total? Based on the chart for women on page 158 of DANDR 2002, if you have less than 20 pounds to lose you may lose between 2 and 6 pounds during the first two weeks of Induction based on whether you have high, average, or low metabloic resistance. For those that want to lose between 20 and 50 pounds they may lose between 3 and 9 pounds during the first two weeks of Induction based on whether they have high, average, or low metabloic resistance.

    These are just averages based on his studies. Each person is different. You have lost weight before and you can do it again.
