I have started atkins over and over and I quickly get frustrated with no more than a few pounds lost. This week I start again. I'm having good luck thus far, I have lost 7 pounds in 5 days. I have eggs and cheese for breakfst, a large Subway grilled chicken salad(lettuces, cucumbers, cheese, chicken, vinegar and 1pckt ranch) and for dinner I have chicken, sausage, or beef with green beans. I have cut out caffeine almost totally and getting lots of water in. I open to any and all suggestions to keep the ball rolling here.

Re: Guidance Please!!
It sounds like you are off to a great start this time, peppersmom.
The most important advice I can give you is to stay in TODAY... and check out the delicious, legal recipes available on this board and at Linda's Low Carb recipes.
If you are going to be where you don't have access to legal food, carry a small insulated lunch box with deviled eggs, celery stalks with cream cheese, and other legal emergency rations.
Glad you joined us!

I agree
you are off to a great start
A good loss for the whole 14 days on induction is said to be between 5% and 10% of the total number of pounds you want to lose so you are already there!!
It is normal to find a reduction in weightloss progress after a couple of weeks, as your body rearranges itself but still loses inches, so make sure you measure as well so that you have an extra method of checking your progress.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!
