  • If I cheated...

Today I had a soft pretzel that someone brought in to work. Since I did that, should I stay away from higher fat items tonight? I wanted to make the heavy cream, cocoa powder splenda treat for dessert but I am worried that my carbs earlier in the day would counter act the higher fat from this food. Thanks, Kelly
I will stay on my diet. I will get healthy and lose weight. There is nothing I could eat or drink that tastes as good as how I feel at this moment on this WOE ~ nothing!

You have to make the choice of high carb or high fat. Since you have already ate the high carb, you'll have to forgo the chocolate whipped cream treat for tonight. A lot of exercise can burn off those carbs quicker.
People who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it.

That's what I thought too. Thanks for the advice. I did coach softball for 1 1/2 hours tonight so I hope that counted for something!

If you were real active for an hour and a half, you probably used up a lot of the carbs before they were stored in the liver as glycogen. You might have dodged the bullet.
