  • Blacking out?

I did do the strict induction all over again and I started to almost black out a few times so I gave up on the whole deal?
I think my brain was staving for glycogen and I was on the verge of fainting, everything in my field of vision was turning black?
That was almost a year ago now.

Has anyone else had this experience?

I did Atkins successfully in 2000 and did induction and then OWL for one year and lost 60 pounds. I started at 220 and went down to 160.
    I am currently at 179.

I did not experience this blacking out feeling at that time but last year it occurred quite a few times and it scared me.

Please see my post in your other thread regarding this and how you were not actually consuming very many calories while working out.

      Re: Blacking out?

Usually eating your allowed 1/2 c. pumpkin and 1/2 c. of your other allowed veggies will clear that problem up. It did for me.

Skimping on fat and your vegetables is guaranteed to cause fatigue.... and probably slow your weight loss down, too.

Half and half is not allowed on induction -- it's half cream and half milk.
