  • Am I eating too much or too little.



    I have read the book, but I'm just so nervous about this and want to do it right, I just need some help along the way. I dont know if im eating to little or too much here is a days of what i have eaten
    Please comment back on what you think..

    Day One:
    Breakfast- Two egg scrambled w/ a pinch of onions and Two jimmy dean sausage patties (very small ones)
    2 glasses of water (16oz)

    Lunch- One and a half cup of romaine lettuce, One mozz.string cheese stick, 6 thin slices of ham, 5 slices of cucumber.
    2 glasses of water (16oz)

    Snack- Two scrambled eggs with a tablespoon of ketchup

    Dinner- "Taco Salad" Hamburg, 1 cup iceburg lettuce, 5 slices of cucumber, 1/2 cup of mexican mixed cheese. 2 tablespoons of sour cream
    2 glasses of water (160z)

    Late night snack- 2 slices of american cheeder cheese, microwaved into chedder chips. @ tablespoons of sour cream.


    On/Off during the day: pepporoni

    Well there are a couple of things you needed to improve on.
    Ketchup is not allowed. Too much sugar in it.

    You are restricted to 3-4 oz of cheese it seems like you are over it.
    Sour cream is limited so watch that.

    You need at least 64 oz of water. Never less than that.

    The amounts are looking fine.

      Hi! I, too, like catsup on my eggs. I buy the low sugar Heinz brand. It is sweetened with sucralose (the sweetener in Splenda.) It has 1 g. of carbs per tablespoon. Here are the ingredients as listed on the label:

      Tomatoes
      distilled vinegar
      salt
      onion powder
      spice
      sucralose

      Larger grocery stores usually stock it. Healthy Choice used to make a low sugar catsup, too, but I haven't seen that brand in a while, so I don't know if they still do.

      PS: the thing to remember, I think is that while tomatoes are allowed on induction, catsup is made from super concentrated tomatoes - so the natural carbs in them are denser - if that makes any sense. The low sugar version has 75% less sugar in it than regular.

        After keying all of your food into the fitday.com site, what is your protein percentage? It seems a little low...
