  • Probably silly to complain about this

but I am not getting the induction flu feelings at all. I am on day 4, I woke up with a headache but after a few glasses of water, it went away. I am doing a clean induction too! I might have had too many veggies yesterday, but other that, I am totally by the book.

Should I be concerned or am I just crazy?

Oh and I should mention that prior to beginning induction I was not eating a huge amount of carbs or sugar either. Wasn't low carb by any means, but also no where near the amount that the average person consumes. Maybe that's why I have no withdrawl symptoms?

That would be my thought, you aren't having to detox too hard, good for you!

It would be nice if I didn't have to suffer! LOL But the headaches and brain fog and the bad breath were all an indication (to me) that it was working. I'm probably being silly and over-thinking it all

First time I went on induction I felt it. The second time I did not. I think the reason I did not feel it the second time is that just like you I may not have been eating directly low carb but I was watching it nevertheless. I still saw a nice little weightloss in induction the second time.

I'm down 3 pounds in 4 days, so I would say that is good! Thanks Liv, if similar happened to you then I am not going to worry about it.

If you have the indications that you are in ketosis (i.e. dragon breath, etc.) then I would not worry over it one bit. Your body probably did not have as dramatic a withdrawal. Luck you! Keep up the wonder effort. It sounds like you are doing very well. Have a glorious day!

I was the same way claire. I wasn't eating a whole heck of a lot of carby starchy things when I started again this time, and I think I got a headache maybe half a day. So I keep questioning it lol like "... is my breath bad enough that its in ketosis, or is it just a little bit in ketosis? Is the weight i've lost just from water and not from fat at all?" AAH!
