  • What to eat?

    Well, I made it threw day one!! No carbs is hard for me, I'm addicted! lol

    I am already wondering what to eat today, my biggest problem when dieting is what to eat. I end up eating the same thing everyday and that is how the diet ends, I get sick of it. I really want to work hard at this one. Can someone give me a few suggestions of things to eat during the first 2 weeks. Also is it ok to drink V8 instead of eating so many veggies?

    If you haven't read the book yet, please do. There are plenty of lies and myths about Atkins. So read the book and do it right. Don't endanger your health.

    The Rules of Induction are also in the FAQ forum.

    V8 juice---any juice other than lemon or lime----is not allowed during Induction Phase.

    The best advice I can give you is to look through the Food List and see what foods YOU like to eat on it. Everyone has different tastes and preferences, so you need to choose the foods you like to eat.

      Also check out recipes. Be creative. This is not a diet. This is a new way of eating and there are plenty of things you can do even in the first phase of weightloss.

      But be mindful of the rules. Atkins works for weightloss if we follow the rules.
