    Re: Eggs!

Eggs are the perfect food. Must have the whole egg. I have at least 3 or 4 a day. Yesterday I had 8

Yep, you can have the yolks. Eggs are good and they're an easy and fast snack when you're in a hurry. And best of all, we can have deviled eggs~Mmmm, my favorite.

It depends. With a head yoke, it is usually okay for me. Bow yokes on the other hand make me choke.

On the other hand, if you are in Ireland, you should definitely not have yoke -- with or without eggs.

              YOKE

              2. In Ireland, it means ecstasy.

                Re: Eggs!

I just assumed eating 2 yokes is a little too much protein (we all know what happens to excess protein), so I don't think "yokes" was meant as "oxen".

TAGuysWifey, we gave you a link to the foods that are allowed on induction a while back. Have you had a chance to look at it?

Debbie, I just assumed "yokes" is not "yolks" because of the "HA-HA" smiley.

                        Re: Eggs!

I love eggs and eat them everyday, but not the whole egg. Eggs are high in cholesterol. I try to watch that. The protein is in the egg white anyway. I eat about two egg whites a day. And eat two whole eggs every other day.

Actually I have never liked the yolk itself unless its scrambled with tomatoes and onions anyway so I dont feel like I am missing out on something I dont like.

I eat 2 scrambled eggs every morning with ham and a small amount of cheese and hot sauce.....it's great to be able to eat the entire egg. The nutritionist I went to said I was only allowed eggbeaters...yuck - they have NO taste! Glad Dr Atkins believes in the whole egg theory.
